Who is Eligible?

The Indigenous Community Member Discount is available to individuals who self-identify and are recognized as members of Indigenous communities, including:

  • First Nations (Status and Non-Status)
  • Métis
  • Inuit

Eligibility may include those who:

  • Hold a valid Indian Status Card, Métis membership card, or proof of Inuit enrollment (if applicable)
  • Are members of recognized Indigenous organizations, communities, or governments
  • Have a documented connection to an Indigenous nation, band, or settlement

Who is NOT Eligible?

The discount does not apply to:

  • Non-Indigenous individuals, including allies, friends, and family members who do not have Indigenous heritage
  • Individuals who claim Indigenous identity but are not recognized by an Indigenous nation, organization, or governing body
  • Academic researchers, professionals, or organizations (Indigenous or non-Indigenous) attending in a professional capacity rather than as community members

If you are unsure about eligibility, you may be asked to provide documentation or verification to confirm your status as an Indigenous community member.
