Volunteer Opportunity

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at IHHG 2026 to carry the Memorial Cloth on March 2nd during the Evening Reception. Please note that volunteer places are limited. Completion of this application does not guarantee acceptance as a volunteer.

During the reception on March 2nd at IHHG 2026, the sacred Memorial Cloth, bearing the names of children who did not return home from Residential Schools, will be presented. The Memorial Cloth holds deep significance and is an important part of the reception.

A rehearsal will take place on March 2 between 3:00–5:00 pm (exact timing TBD), and the actual carrying of the Memorial Cloth will occur during the reception that same evening, between 6:00-8:00 pm (exact timing TBD).

You will receive information the week of February 16th, once the details are finalized and approved.
